The Information Commissioner seems to be trying to put a stop to the 
LibDems[1] but in general we don't get cold calls any more. We've 
achieved this through a combination of being Telephone Preference 
Service registered and having Anonymous Caller Rejection[2]. The only 
calls that seem to get through that combination are from American's 
selling Florida holidays.

[2] ACR doesn't seem to be a problem for genuine incoming calls now. The
    only exception we've had in recent times is Milton Primary School
    (keeping us on topic ;-)) who don't have a presentation number so
    couldn't get through. Odd really as they've got to be able to phone
    any parent ...
