SCDC's favourite is the NT. They apparently produced the most detailed
bid of anyone. The idea is to join up, in some way, the Park with the
Wicken Fen project presumably via Anglesey Abbey. They have plans for
the visitor's centre to generate more income/etc. Sounds rather good if
it happens. Tho I'm sure the park will not stay the same, and change is
scary, but who knows it could be for the better. CPS is reasonable well
known in the area for running Wandlebury, and wouldn't be a bad choice.
As for CSL... They have no experience. But at least for now have a lot
of money to bring to the party. If they get it, I see big changes in the
park, and I'm not convinced I would like them. SCDC sound like they,
like many people, are cautious of CSL'c motives. And are concerned where
they get their money from. But it's the M word that gets Vicky Ford's
attention, and no doubt Ray Mannings too.
