I haven't seen the notice. Doesn't sound very likely to be genuine to me.

On Tuesday morning, there seemed to be chain-sawing going on in the Park
near the Old School Lane entrance, with associated vehicle (for chipping the
wood?). Was there some storm damage in that area caused by the high-winds
last week? I know occasional tree-maintenance is needed, but it sounds the
type of work where the amounte could be 'less' rather than 'more' in view of
the cash shortage.
