Can I just say that whatever we think of the "fundraising event", having
the Tories pay for a leaflet headlined "Save Milton Country Park" that
presumably got delivered by Tory volunteers to every house in the village,
so that even those who weren't aware of the threat to the Park might have
a clue that We Have A Problem now, is probably a good thing.

Since a lot of the campaign so far has been by basically viral marketing,
and I was a bit shocked when I cycled along Coles Road on Friday night at
how few houses who back onto the Park had posters in their windows, this
might just raise more awareness and get more petition
signatures/letters/general outrage, as I'm sure that there probably were
people out there who had no idea - it's amazing how unobservant people can
be, if they're busy going about their daily business and have been busy.
