Especially those people (like some banks/building socs) who won't actually
take on board the change if you phone them - they insist on you going into a
branch or writing to them. I wouldn't expect them to take an address change
verbally, but I haven't changed address! My attitude to these (at least at
the moment) is to say that in that case, I won't be bothered trying to
change. On the positive side, I've had one bank change the code without me
even mentioning it, Cambridge Water say they will change it automatically,
and so do South Cambs. council (re voting).

I know it's just being silly, and isn't going to work, but I've told them
where I live, and could argue that it's _their_ responsibility to work out
the corresponding code used by whatever postal service they happen to
employ.

One can download a table containing all the changes from
http://www.royalmail.com/ - type "postcode update" into their search
facility, scroll down a bit, hit "Postcode Updates", then "Postcode Update
43" on the left hand side is the one that affected this region. I've used it
to find the new code for several people I write to.

Not got my labels yet (did I forget to ask for them somehow?). Counting the
message to this list, that's the second report I've heard of someone
receiving them.
