It would be very counter-productive at the moment to have a paper 
petition. We want people's email addresses wherever possible. If you put 
a piece of paper under their noses many will sign even if they have an 
email address and we would loose the ability to contact them.

Right now it is not a 'numbers game'. Quality data and visibility is.
