TBH most of your local councillors are very cynical about talk of
development on that field. Over the years we've seen all sorts of things
mooted: hotels, garden centres, offices and we've enquired about it for
football pitches. In reality it was always a very difficult site to use
because of the access and this was made considerably more difficult by
the addition of the JC bridge. It's hard to envisage any scheme which
could safely provide vehicle access to the site without a major re-
working of the "Tesco" roundabout.

Yup, I was thinking that too and I've forwarded to Jim another email
about this from a villager in the last hour.
