I wouldn't be surprised if Paul Oldham is along in a minute to point out
that there's something on the village website mentioning this:

It includes the statement "January's are suggesting a hotel and car retail
showroom for the site (if Green Belt protection is removed)."

Talking of 'showrooms' I can't help noticing that there are quite a number
of cars for sale on grass verges of Cambridge Road, including one on the
patch of grass in front of the 'kebab van'. There were two cars 'for sale'
on there the other day. The area is getting turned into a quagmire by
vehicles driving on and off. Are they breaking any law? I'd prefer our few
bits of grass not to be spoiled in this way.
