I saw her delivering election leaflets to odd houses by 4x4 too.  Funny,
in a village the size of Milton, especially where lots of the streets are
cut off from each other by car but there's often a pedestrian/cycle cut
through, there's only one form of transport I think I'd even think of
using if I needed to go to one or two houses in every other street.

I did think about returning the survey we got ("protest about the layout
at the roundabout" one) a month or so back with the helpful suggestion
that I appear able to get from Milton to North Cambridge at rush hour,
whatever the traffic is like in no more than 15 minutes, and offering to
lend her one of our spare bicycles so she could try it out for herself.
