Yes, but new technology can go wrong. Last Friday, pumping equipment at a
water treatment works at Leith, near Edinburgh, failed which allowed
millions of litres in raw sewage to get into the Firth of Forth. It took
until yesterday to fix the problem (it was on the news).

Not that I will be worrying about the smell for much longer, as I'm moving
to Ely in May/June.
