[milton-chat] Postcode misery continues...

Hi,

When we moved house back in October I got really frustrated as many
organisations that I rang to register the change of address didn't recognise
the new postcode. What is worse is that many of them said I would have to
ring back again later in the year to update the new address with the changed
post code. I rang Royal Mail to 'register my concerns' and was pretty much
told that it wasn't their fault and that I just needed to wait until
everybody's 'systems' had been updated! For my troubles I got a case
reference number and no further contact.

I guess like David I'm not moving the problem forward too much here, I'd
like to think that if enough people contacted Royal Mail they might do
something but somehow I think not.
