I also live on the High Street and just met the guy delivering what I
suspect are the same leaflets that you had. He is a resident of Willow
Crescent and will be directly affected by this development.

I took a look at the plans which are at
http://egov.scambs.gov.uk/planningfiles/casefile/2007/S-494-2007-F-DRAWINGS2
.pdf, it seems like a rather extensive development for the site and will
impact residents of Willow Crescent, Butt Lane and Foxes Close. The main
concern is the number of cars that would be accessing the property down the
lane from the High Street which is very near the Butt Lane junction. To me
this development seems very inappropriate for the location.
