Too late now but for anyone else thinking of going FreeView who is going
to need an aerial upgrade (which you probably will) then it's worth
considering FreeSat from BSkyB. See http://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk/
It's SKY Digital via satellite. No subscription fee and more channels
than FreeView (120 v 44 for TV, 80 v 24 radio). Costs UKP150 including
all the hardware and installation. So if you're going to be paying UKP90
for a new aerial plus a bit more for a FreeView box it's worth
considering as an alternative.
If we ever get a TV again it's the option I think we'd go for,
especially as our south facing wall is at the back of the house so no
unsightly dish on the front.
