We have village organisations that:

    * run the Recreation Ground
    * and the Village Green, Homefield Park, the Copse, parts of the 
Coppice, and more
    * provide for our young people, workers, events
    * spend a total of over £250,000 of our money
    * and more ....

and this year is your opportunity to join them!

Parish Council elections are coming round, and nominations have to be in 
by April 4th (noon). The Councils have published a leaflet 
http://www.hisimp.net/opus1205/could_you_be_a_parish_councillor.pdf that 
tells you more - and both Council Chairmen would be delighted to talk to 
anyone who wants to know more.

Nomination forms can be got from South Cambridgeshire District Council 
(to where they need to be returned) - or by mailing the Clerk to the two 
Councils at clerk at hisimp.net
