SCDC Review of Polling Places

South Cambs are undertaking a review of where we vote particularly 
asking the questions:

  Is your usual polling station convenient and suitable?
  Is there easy access?
  Are there difficult steps or heavy doors?

I've only just picked up the consultation (sorry!) - it started at the 
beginning of the month, and if you want to comment you need to do so by 
next Friday, 24th August!

Impington Council - Tree Warden vacancy
---------------------------------------

Following the resignation of Geoff Waters after 7 years on Council we 
are looking for a tree warden. The tree warden doesn't have to be a 
Councillor, but is called upon infrequently to comment and advise on 
applications for tree works in and around the village.

So:
 do you have a good knowledge of trees (you don't have to be an 
expert!)?  And could spare some time to look at trees and comment on 
proposed works?  And could spare a few hours a month as needed?  
Training is available, and any costs, of course, will be met by the Council.
