Hi Everyone,

Firstly many thanks to everyone who helped at the last task @ Homefield
Park - what a fantastic turnout!
Needless to say we achieved a lot. Fresh chippings were spread along the
entire length of the new footpath and much of the northern fence was
cleared. We then used this brushwood to beef up the dead hedge we're
building along the B1049 boundary - hopefully this'll help to block out some
of the noise and air pollution.

Both last Sunday and the one before a few of us also gave the new trees near
the Holiday Inn a much overdue drink. Unfortunately with the prolonged dry
weather we've had this year they're struggling a bit so we'll continue to
give them some extra TLC.

Finally just to confirm that as usual it's Litter Picking on Saturday.
There are two places to choose from to meet up.
9:30 at Jct. Clay Close Lane/Impington Lane or
10:00 at Jct. Cambridge Rd/The Coppice

At about 11:15 we'll also be weeding, rotavating and edging the new bed
opposite the Hotel,,,plus watering the trees!

Just turn up for as long as you can manage - remember all tools and
refreshments are provided.

Look forward to seeing you there,

Cheers,
Pene
