Hi,

Many thanks to everyone who helped with finishing off mulching the new hedge
and planting up the gaps - it's rather late for planting so we'll just have
to keep them well watered! We also managed to get all the component parts
for the tripple bay composting area sorted by demolishing several pallets.
All in all it was a very productive working party and we were done and
dusted in just over 2 hours including a tea break and snail survey!

We've done what we can for now, so it's over to the probation service to do
the heavy work clearing and leveling the site....
So we won't be meeting up again until Saturday 30th May at 9:30. It should
be another short morning as all we need to do is give the wood a coat of
preservative and then assemble it all. So we'll have plenty of time to water
the hedge and survey those snails again!

As usual all tools and refeshments are provided; but stout shoes, gloves and
a sense of humour are recommended.
Everyone is welcome, so please come for as long (or as little time) as you
like - all help is greatly appreciated!!

PS. The next working party after this will be litterpicking, meeting up on
June 6th at 9:30am in Clay Close Lane (by IVC) or
alternatively with the regular group meeting up at The Copice at 10am - all
finishing at The Copse.
