Hi,

Many thanks to Steve and Peter who helped me with an impromptu activity last
Friday in Homefield Park with children from The Early Learning Centre. Also
many thanks to everyone who helped with a very short notice working party on
Saturday morning. We've now completed a rather smart triple bay composting
area. They have been made entirely from recyclyed pallets and are now
complete with lids and removeable sliding fronts to allow for easy access.

I have just received news that we've some more chippings delivered! So we'll
be meeting up again on Saturday 27th June at 9:30am to spread them onto the
woodland footpaths in The Coppice. We'll be doing the northern footpath
which links Cambridge Road and the B1049, you'll see the pile which is about
mid way, almost opposite the bend in Buroughfield. We'll also trim the
little hedge and give the new bed (opposite the hotel) a weed as we're
hoping to have some top soil soon.

As usual all tools and refreshments are provided; but stout shoes, gloves
and a sense of humour are recommended.
Everyone is welcome, so please come for as long (or as little time) as you
like - any help is greatly appreciated!!
