The email you received was sent to the Chat about Histon & Impington list, to which you subscribe.  It should have been framed as a notice informing people about the free screening of the film Age of Stupid at the Methodist Hall on 8th July.  This film about climate change was very well received in the village when we showed it in March and we are delighted to be able to show it again.  

Unfortunately the person who sent the notice misunderstood the nature of the hisimp chat list and thought that her notice would be included in a hisimp chat list newsletter.  I hope this clears up the misunderstanding and apologise for the inconvenience caused.

  I would also like to know from where you obtained my e-mail address. I would also like to know who Sioban Mellon is as I do not think that I have ever met this lady and I can not understand why she would give you my address. 
  I would also point-out, that to my knowledge, I do not publish any newsletter. 
  Please answer my specific points because I think that both you and I have consumed energy in sending and replying to pointless e-mails.
  Oh, and could you please take note of the title of the film that you propose to show. 'Age of Stupid', says it all ?
