Hi,

Well I think I can safely say that everyone had a great time at our Feast
BBQ.

The weather was fantastic so we were able to eat, drink and be merry... that
is until fading light stopped play! Many thanks to everyone for all their
help in setting up and clearing away.

For those of you who weren't able to join us I hope you enjoyed yourselves
anyway and perhaps we'll see you next time!

Hi,

 

Calling all Enviro.Volunteers - Past, Present and Future.

 

If you haven't already heard we've decided we've earned a rest.... yes
you've read that correctly!!

.....So, as the tradition of Impington Feast Sunday has lapsed, we've
decided to revive it and to take it literally and celebrate it by enjoying a
feast of food.

 

This will be in the form of a BBQ and, in true enviro.volunteer fashion, all
refreshments and salads etc. will be provided.... but please bring your own
wine/beer and meat.

 

Please feel free to wear whatever footwear you like and be assured that
gloves will not be required and on this occasion. Plus no barrowing or
digging will be allowed!

 

Hope to see you there, with or without family, friends or partners -
everyone is welcome!

PS.

For those who are interested, the Village Society are holding a ceremony
before hand to commemorate Impington Hall and the Pepys family. A plaque
will be unveiled at 2:30pm in Burgoynes Road opposite the church.
