[hisimp-chat] Enviro.Vols working party to finish the wildflower planting 9:30am, THIS Saturday, January 30th

Hi
It was a lovely bright day last Saturday and thanks to everyone's enthuiasm
we managed to put the last sqaure tree guard around the Hornbeam near the
Holiday Inn entrance so they now all match! We also converted the old
triangular one for a newly planted Walnut tree in Clay Close Lane....and
managed to put up a bird box, donated by the Red Cross.

Much progress was made on preparing the banks of the ditch in the pocket
park on the corner opposite IVC.. not sure if some of us now have webbed
feet! Further down Clay Close Lane the second site was planted and
seeded with several varieties of wildflower. Thanks to everyone who made
this possible.

We would like to finish off the planting so it'd be great if you could come
along again this Saturday 30th January. We'll be meeting up at 9:30am in the
ditch in Clay Close Lane.
