Success for the Cottenham Community Centre

 

Thanks to all of you who voted. The Cottenham Community Centre did not win
on the night but was the top scoring runner-up and so secured £50K funding.

New bus timetables not yet implemented!

 

Note that the new bus timetables have not been implemented, They are being
held back until the Guided Bus begins operations sometime in 2010.

 

Following the very constructive meeting with Stagecoach a citi 7 web-site,
www.cit7.org.uk, has been launched to provide a focus for local opinion and
ideas.

 

Parish councillors needed

 

Most of our parish and community councils are short of 1 or 2 councillors.
Maybe you could fill one of the vacancies. If you’ve got opinions, a little
energy and an enthusiasm to see your community prosper why not apply? Check
out you parish council web-site for more information.
