Girton Players are putting on a 3 night run of two, one-act plays, at the
Girton Glebe School. These will run from tonight (Thursday 17 April) to
Saturday 19 April, and tickets are still available. Some should also be
available on the door.

Both the plays are about 1 hour each, and both are funny as well as
poignant. The Funeral of Macy Loverett is actually written and directed by
Gytha Lodge, who was born in Girton, has written and directed several plays,
is still very young and is going to go far! Many of the actors, myself
included, are debuting in this play, but the dedication to the preparations
and the skills of the Director mean that I defy anyone to reliably tell who
has and who hasn't acted before.

See http://www.girtonplayers.org/ for more details, and
http://www.girtonplayers.org/glebe.htm for directions.

It would be great to see any of you there, but I appreciate this is short
notice.
