Sad to report that today there was young badger lying on the side of A14
between Histon and Hardwick - obviously hit by passing vehicle
- so they are in the area

A badger (young) was seen in St Andrew's Way two weeks ago about 10pm on
Tuesday night. Actually wandered up and investigted the amazed group of
people watching him / her. Apparantly they roam an area of three miles.
There may be some in the paddock behind St Andrew's Way / St Georges at Close /
St Goreges Way.

All the sweetcorn on my allotment (Cottenham road) and neighbouring ones -
has been stripped bare. The cobs are lying on the ground and several plants
have been trampled. Also, a wasp's nest in my manure heap has been burrowed
out (thanks, guys). Some of the 'old boys' reckon it's badgers. Any other
thoughts?
