Hi Everyone,

 

I'd just like to say a huge thank you to all the Enviro.Volunteers who
put in a fantastic full days work at The Copse last Saturday.

The complete length of the new hedge has been weeded and pruned and many
overhanging branches cut back to allow more light in. Sycamore saplings
have been dug out from another large area alongside the main pathway.
Also two large dead trees were felled allowing us to create several
habitat piles with the logs. Plus the old sandpit area has been
cleared....watch this space!

 

All this clearance kept Matt's chipping machine busy, reducing it to
several tons of chippings, most of which have been spread onto the
pathways.
